Use the CFC WELD V8 RULES, with the following exceptions:
WHEELBASE 106 inches.
GAS TANK PROTECTER.
Two kickers may be welded to rear seat bar, angling down and a maximum of 24" back from seat bar. A maximum of 2"x2"x1/4 angel or 2"x2"x 1/4 square may be used. Iron CANNOT be welded to the floor tin and must have a 2" gap between end of bar and
floor tin on a fresh car. Bars may be spaced a maximum of 30" apart. Bars must be welded and determined safe by officials.
Any front car cushion bumpers are allowed, as long as they are trimmed to match the width of the car and have no sharp ends. Bumpers must be attached using brackets or shocks that came with the car. One additional 4"x 6"x 1/4 piece of flat iron per
frame rail will be allowed to weld bumper to the frame.
One piece of strap iron per frame rail will be allowed on front frame between the bumper and shock tower. Maximum iron size is2" x 1/4"x 15" long. This iron must remain in one piece and may be put on whichever side of the frame you want but must
not go back any further than the front of the shock tower. NO IRON IS ALLOWED INSIDE OF FRAME. Some sort of factory hole must remain open in frame for inspection.
